Pollution has change the world in more than one way. The plants have died, humans have mutated into a new branch of super beings called freak and the remaining normal humans have retreated into their own society called domes. The domes were designed to keep the freaks out and keep the humans safe. The struggle for power between the humans and freaks continues only to get worse and worse with each passing day.
With the capturing and killings on both sides, the war between the two species seems neverending, and with so much experimentation going on, one cannot help but wonder if the freaks happened to evolve on their own, or if they were also a result in scientific achievement.
Will the world ever find true peace once again or will things truly spiral down into its destruction?

Pollution. A man-made disease that swept the earth. Killing roots, killing people, destroying worlds. With pollution, diseases are said to form, mutate and effect those who aren't immune, and that is just what had happened.
Human's had changed, both mentally, and physically. There were groups, species within the human race that hadn't been there before. The humans, and the freaks. With the destruction of the earths natural beauty, radiation, gas, waste, had laid birth to a form of mutation, one of which had created the sub species known as Freaks. Hated and feared by the humans, the Freaks were signalled out, and rightly so as history describes them having been vile creatures with only blood on their minds. It was said not only human's pollution ruined nature, but the broken old cities, the mutated animals, barren landscapes and jungle like areas were all created from this new species, a species which obtained unimagineable powers which could shape and change the earth.
Technology rapidly increased with the outbreak of Freaks, the war for power, for the earth begun. Retreating into dome like cities, the human's cut themselves off from the outside world, and sought to form armies to destory the Freaks. No civilian is allowed outside the domes, only military units may pass willingly in and out, capturing Freaks and experiemnting on them.
In this world, only violence rules.
----
The door to the lab clicked open, and the scent of cleaning products instantly hit his nose. It was always like this within the labs, a clean enviroment, devoid of as much contaminants as possible, an almost perfect condition for scientists to work in. Upon entering, light from ceiling pads glew brightly, illuminating a delicate form, shrouded beneath a poncho that clung to his person. With bright red hair, and a blazing eye of solid green, the captains son, Lavi made his way inside, making sure to clean off his boots before he moved in any deeper.
It was here that he came to visit his friend, someone whom he'd met at the miliatry academeny before they had left. A simple adult, built for science, and with a smile, he approached the man who sat as his desk facing a closed, human sized container. Slowly, the metal bindings encasing one of their captures drew back, revealing a man heavily trapped agaisnt a metal board. "One dosage of chemical F and three of G and Y" The scientists voice rung out, and walking over, Lavi leaned over his shoulder. "...Ta-ki-tae" He murmured looking down to a file he was not premitted to see, and hastily, his firned moved to cover the document.
"LAvi! What are you doing here, we're in the middle of very important research!" The man spun around to look at the danity figure of a seventeen year old boy. Looking up, Lavi's eye looked towards the contained being, the smile fading from his lips if only breifly. "Your father would have my head if anything happened to you" "And nothing will" Lavi hummed in responce. "Fathers always moaning about how I dont understand how dangerous Freaks are, prehaps...you could teach me?"
Beside the freak, one of the scientists glanced over, within his hands read the syrum A, and unknowingly, he jabbed the wrong chemical into the body before hime.

It had been a cold and lonely existence for Takitae these dreadfully long 2 years. Takitae, in his unconscious state could remember everything that happened that fateful day two years ago. He was, of course the bane of the human dome society due to his impressive battling capability. His two powers being super strength, and the capability to transform into a werewolf created problems for the humans in many ways. They were outmatched in every way in battle with him and he was the pride of his village, protecting it every single time a raid of humans happened to come. Though, on a particular day, a demand for Takitae's head had been given out, sending out no less than 100 human soldiers to get Takitae either dead, or alive. Takitae had fought valiantly, taking out the normal humans with ease with his supernatural powers but there was one human....one that was able to fight on par with Takitae in every way. The human with the blue hair...Just thinking about him made the scars on Takitae's face throb. Due to his quick thinking, the blue haired man managed to capture Takitae and put the dreaded freak collar around his neck, dragging him to the dome of humans as a captive to be experimented upon. They dragged him underground to a lab and strapped him into chambers and injected him with drug after drug, making him feel so weak and helpless. He had long since given up hope of escape and just wanted the humans to end this torture and end his life like a true warrior.
Today had been no different, having hearing the sound of footsteps come down the steps as more drugs were injected into his body for testing for safe human consumption. He had seen many freaks die do to such things, but apparently his body was too strong to let him die in such an unspeakable manner. As the footsteps got closer, he opened his eyes up slightly to see a small femalish looking child near him, starting to read the paper that had been on the lab table and began being scolded by one of the lab humans who had been working on him. He felt drowse as he could hear yelling and shouting coming from them. "I still can't believe this guy gave the military so much trouble...and for a high class 3 freak at that...wouldn't want to meet a class 5." one of the men joked around as the serum was injected into Takitae's body.
Takitae's dreary eye's quickly shot open as he began screaming for dear life as the liquid serum coursed through his body like venom and he began struggling with the straps on his body, crying and howling bloody murder as electricity began to envelope around his entire body, short circuiting the freak collar that had been placed on him and feel to the ground with a loud bang. His bright, eyes had become that of dark red and he quickly rid himself of the straps using his strength and freed himself from his 'prison' and stood there with angry deep in his heart and decided to give the scientist something to truly fear as he quickly grabbed the face of the one who was joking around with his palm and slammed him into the wall hard, making his head explode. The blood flew everywhere as one of the scientists tripped the alarm to warn everyone in the dome that a freak had broken loose. Takitae heard the alarm trip and he knew that meant bad news for him. As part of his retribution, he opened his palm towards Kanda and shot out his newly obtained electrical powers and fried his brain, killing him an in instant and Takitae used his strength to forcefully open the cages of the newly transported freaks in the lab and short circuited their collars for them, freeing his freak brethren and turned his sights on Lavi. "Human.....kill...." was all he could say as he hadn't really talked for the past two years.

From such words leaving Lavi's plush lips, the elder man could merely smile, soft and calmly towards him. This boy was innocent, not yet corrupted, he still viewed the world in a somewhat...uncoloured manner. Everything was white or gray, nothing was black. Yet he would learn that these freaks, were somthing to be frightened off. "I dunno, this isn't a suitable enviroment for a child" He glanced up, looking towards the men who stood with the mixtures, each one, getting ready to place them in. One went in, the liquid slowly being pushed in.
"But Kanda..." The redhead whined, moving to bend low agaisnt the table. He wanted to look at the documents, see why this one was...well going through such things, yet Kanda firmly kept him from seeing, kept them away, and shortly, a hand softly touched his hair. A joke sounded from a mocking scientist, and shortly, a wretched scream shook the air.
It was startling, frightening beyond belief. So loud, so pain stricken, so full of anger and rage. Lavi shot up, wide eye, staring forward towards the scene before them, the scientists near the captive, barely backed away though, and shortly, the lights began to play up, flickering on and off, causing a wave of worry around the humans within the lab. What...was going on? Bright lights sounded, and shortly the sounds of ripping metal came known, each human, having to sheild their ears breifly due to the sounds. A foolish act. One scream and all eyes turned to the nearby scientists, one grabbed, thrown against the wall, and- "Oh my god...Its escaped! Lavi, get out of here, sound th-!" Kanda's last words never left his lips.
Fear ridden, Lavi froze, and finally, his white and gray world held somthing black within it. It was only until the freak turned its attention on him that Lavi snapped from his fearful state, but by then, things seemed already too late. The other Freaks were set loose, and Takitaes inhuman eyes turned towards him. He gulped. Body shaking. Lavi spun, turning on his heels as he rocketed for the door. He couldn't stay here, and those words. But the other freaks were gaining confidence, and beside Takitae, they loomed, beady eyes, stuffed with hatred watching them. Panic ridden, he attempted to open the door, pulling desperatly at the handle. The weapons, foolishly where just outside that door, along with a gathering army.

Takitae couldn't help but feel so much anger and hatred towards these creatures, which was understandable since they had kept him locked away like some sort of animal for so long. From what he could see on the human calender, it had been two whole years since that day. As he slaughtered a few more of the scientists, Takitae had turned his attention towards the remaining boy who was trying to escape from him and the freaks. His senses were already telling him that an army of humans would be on their way at any moment. He needed to calm his rage and bloodlust for the moment and help the other freaks escape with him. The quickest and easiest way would be to use the boy as a hostage. With that idea in mind, Takitae grabbed the chains that had once bound him and wrapped it around Lavi's tender throat. "With me, boy...." he said, not really able to form perfect sentences at the moment.
After capturing Lavi, the white haired freak wrapped the chain around the boys wrists after putting them behind his back and stood in front of the other freaks as the blaring sound of the alarm continued. "Together brothers....we leave." he said as he used his monster strength to break down the steel down the separated them and the army that he gathered outside of the lab with every kind of weapon imaginable pointed at them. "Humans! Move out of way, or boy dies...!" Takitae shouted at them as he grabbed Lavi's neck again and his newly colored eyes began to glow slightly as he decided to use his werewolf form, despite the excruciating pain that it brought.
As he started to change, he could feel his skin starting to rip and his bones starting to change, making his scream out in again as he became more muscular and fur continued to cover his body bit by bit, his fangs and claws growing longer and sharper as he grew more and more, his blood curdling howls filling the humans streets as he was in pain until his transformation was complete. The frightened human army stood there in awe as they had their guns pointed to the white furred beast that stood before them, his white, long tail brushing the steel door as he loomed over the humans. "Move.....!" he howled as he held onto the boy's neck and the army quickly recognized the boy as the soon of the general, and they all quickly moved out of the way for him and Takitae was surprised. "Anyone makes any slight movements against me and my comrades, and I crush the boy's neck..." he said in a deep, menacing voice that changed along with him.

The panic he felt was extreme, in the background, he could hear the sounds of the others, cries, bloodcurlding. The sounds of the freaks, slaughtering the others, it was dreadful, and the damned door wasn't opening. He pulled hard, the lights flickering, outside, emergancy lights hollarded, a bright red colour, singalling that this was the lab where things had gone wrong. Just outside, he could see uniforms, the army moving in, boots thumping on the floors, guns clicking. They were so close...yet the freak got to him first.
Freezing metal touched his slim neck, cold and harsh like the words spoken behind him. LAvi's heart froze, his blood, running cold. He dared not speak, he dared not move, and gulping, hands grabbed his wrists, pulling them harshly behind his back, where tightly, they were bound. The cold chains locked around his wrists, the other chain, looped around his neck, putting him in a position of life, or death. One wrong move, and he would be killed.
Lavi gritted his teeth, that single eye, following the movement of the freak, the one who'd captured him, tied him up. He watched those hands reach forward, fingers latching onto the metal, and harshly, they pulled. The door he had struggled to open, ripped straight off its hindges. Lavi was speahless, yet not for long. "Ah! L-Let me go! Don't listen too him!" The boy had gained the ablitly to speak once more, his neck gabbed, body placed before the others, the other humans who stood, armed and aiming for them. Behind him, the skin of the hand holding him shredded. Shock, not only in Lavi, filled the entire room, fur soon touching where skin had onced touch.
Behind him, a scream had roared, and horror filled those faces of the some of the soliders he could see. Fear struck Lavi's heart, but he wouldn't allow it too consume him. He was a solider, he...couldn't let this Freak, Takitae to get the best of him, but as the grip tightened on his neck, he flinched, whimpering quietly at the sudden tightness. Without hesitation, the soliders parted, moving, allowing Takitae, his escape. Timidly, he stepped forward as he was pushed and lead, that eye flickering open, staring towards the shoulders, almost begging for help, for them to take action. They...couldn't let a freak walk all over them.

Takitae saw the humans start to make a path for not only him but his brethren as well once they saw that the human boy was in danger, which made the beast notice something, which was incredibly bad for the humans. Not only was Takitae very powerful, he was also quite cunning, a very bad combination of you wished to take someone like him on. "You must be very important to these people..." he told the boy he had captured in his changed voice that almost rumbled out of his lungs. His piercing red eyes ventured over to where he saw the closest point of the dome where he and the others could travel to and escape this hell filled with mankind. "Everyone, over there." he told the freaks, pointing his claw for to where he was thinking and they all nodded, agreeing about the escape route which they had all taken immediately. "Don't take your eyes off the humans either!" Takitae shouted at them as he began running with them all.
His giant, furry paws hit the ground as he ran, making paw prints as he dragged the human boy along with both him and the other freaks to the edge of the dome which seemed like a dead end. "Now what?" one of the freaks asked Takitae, whose fangs were pointed at the army who was starting to trail behind them and started to sound the alarm that freaks were loose inside of the dome. Takitae knew that sound all too well. Of course, it went off whenever one of his buddies would escape, but that also meant that he would never see that buddy again...in either situation the escape ended up in. The sound of the blaring alarm not only startled him but began sending panic into the streets of the humans, making them almost scream and shiver in terror, thinking that a deadly enemy was loose on the streets, ready to kill any of them if the had the misfortune of crossing his or her path.
Takitae then snapped out of his funk and looked at the freaks before walking over to the glass of the dome and clenched hiis furry fist, and began generating electricity out of it, astonishing the other freaks to see he had one extra power. He roared loudly as he punched the thick dome with all his might, shattering the side of the dome with ease before the freaks began flooding out back into the wasteland they called earth and Takitae picked the boy up by his waist. "Your staying with me, kid..." he said smirking before dashing off after the other, ready to make side trips as to throw the army off his trail in case they decide to follow him. Indeed, Takitae was a very cunning warrior indeed.

No matter how much Lavi protested, how high he raised his voice, wailing threats and words of courage. Everything that left his lips, fell hard onto deaf ears. No one listened, no one heard him. Blindly, they parted, forming a path for the freaks to take, one of which, would allow them the freedom they sought. Behind him, a low rumbling sounded. Like thunder, it growled within Takitae's voice, his words, murmured just loud enough for him to hear, each one, clashing inside his head. His heart tightened, panicked. This was bad. Believing he was important, the others, allowing Takitae to manipulate them. This was all very bad. Their city was in danger, and Lavi, had foolishly allowed himself to be captured. This was terrible...
One roar of a command was given, followed my another, and instantly, Takitae was running, those paws pressing hard too the ground, pushing at the soil and slamming it down. He was fast, leaving only paw prints and dust in his wake. Dragged along, Taki was unwillingly pulled past the groups of soliders, forced to be dragged along, dirt flickering onto his form, dusting over him, and finally, when they came to a stop, Lavi was left choking for breath.
The sounds of a blazing alarm hit his ears, and with a watery eye, he glanced up. Finally he could breath, the chains around his wrists, rubbing his skin somewhat raw, while wild shouts, from both freak and human bombarded him. It seemed the wall would delay their escape, the domes large seethrough shelter was hard to crack. He glanced up, following Takitae who walked close. In a flash, their protection had been shattered, the city of the humans, now exposed to the world outside, the wild which had been unvisted since the beginins of their war. "...No..." Eeveryone was at risk, his small word of worry, whispered as his heart clenched. They were doomed. Brought back to reality, a hand grabbed him by the waist, shortly followed by a nother one, he was raised, tucked under an arm, under...a furry arm. It was Takitae. "W-what! No, put me down!" He began to struggle. "I'm of no use to you, l-let me go!" He didn't want to leave the world he'd been raised in. Glancing down, he bit his teeth, the army, he could hear them but-
Takitae started to move. He wouldn't let them loose them. The army were close, all he had too do, was slow this one down, just slow him-With all his might, Lavi bit at what he could reach, and he bit, hard.

Takitae was amazed when he had finally saw the outside world. He had never dreamed that he would make it back out here after those two long years of captivity. He had made it....To humans, the sight of the vast wasteland was a horrid sight to behold, but to Takitae....To Takitae, the sight of the wasteland was a nostalgic and happy sight to wimothhold. It was not long before Takitae was forcefully withdrawn from his thoughts by the feeling of small teeth digging in to his furry flesh. "Oww! You bastard..." Takitae felt annoyed and hit Lavi over the head with his free hand as he continued to run, having the other freaks split up and head to their respective villages. That way, in case the humans did come, they couldn't track all of them. Takitae on the other hand decided to head to the river and changed back into a human, screaming bloody agony as he did until it was complete and he dragged Lavi by his chains across till they reached the edge to the other side.
"There...Hopefully this throws them off my trail a little bit..." Takitae said aloud a little bit before picking Lavi up again with his monstrous strength, placing the poor human over his shoulder and continued to walk barefoot back towards his home village. As he continued to walk, he couldn't help but wonder about the viallage abd how much of it has changed. How many are still alive? Who else had been taken prisoner? If...Kallen and Shito were alright? He wouldn't be able to bear it if something had happened to those two in his absence. For the humans sake, he hoped those two were alright, or he would be heading right back to the dome he was held prisoner and wreak more havoc than his escape, if that was even possible. Takitae looked over at the human he was carrying and couldn't help but look at him in disgust the entire time. "Filthy human..." Was all he could say to the distraught boy.
The journey took a while due to Takitae taking many detours to throws off any possible pursuers off his trail, but he had finally made it back to the village with his extra baggage still on his shoulder. The village was just beyond the horizon and as he saw it, his eyes lit up in happiness. He still couldn't believe he made it back here alive and in one piece. "Kallen....Shito...." was all he could say as he just stood there and looked.

His bite was hard, quick, and although it drew the attention of the beast, it was far from what he wanted. Hair collected within his mouth while annoyed words shot towards him. There was a slap, his head fell forward, teeth now freeing the arm he had bitten into while locks of red fell over his fair skin. The pounding pain within his head hurt. Takitae had more strenght than he probably new. Glancing up, Lavi swallowed, nervous and fearful. He had never been outside the walls, and now here he was, tucked beneath this freaks arms and being slowly carried, his head still pounding.
Within a second, Takitae had begun to run, the wind visously lapping at his face. "L-let me go..." Lavi's voice, was barely a murmur, the blow to his head, having knocked a little of the fight out of him as steadily, it continued to pound.
Minutes seemed to fly by, like the colours of the world surrounding them, where hair once coated him, skin gradually took its place, a bloody scream, blood curlding rocketed through the air. With his attentipn grabbed, Lavi stared, glaring towards the freak. Temoparily, he was placed down, yet there was still no escape. The freak began to tug him to the river. "S-Stop! What the hell do you think your doing!" He couldn't swim. Lavi had never been taught, and being dragged to the river, only one word passed through his head. Drowning. He was going to drown. "S-Stop!" His cries fell onto deaf ears.
Water kissed his skin, soaking him to the bones. He was pulled, head struggling to stay above water, hair wet, clinging to his face. It was frightening, the feeling he would drown, but then again, that fate was probably much more kinder than what he was to face. His head went under, yet not for long, and shortly, he was slung over a bare shoulder. His soaking form, touching that of the Freaks, coughs and shudders slipping from his body.
This time the journey was slow, and eventually, words were spoken. "F-fucking freak!" Takitae's harsh words fueled him, his spark was lit, yet he was tired, worn out. Distressed, highly so. He couldn't see where they were heading, were he was being taken. All he saw, was the world Takitae passed. Over grown nature, sufforcating the scenery... Would he ever see his home again?
---
Soft pants filled the air, bright blue eyes, shimmering joyfully. The village had all heard it, the loud noise, the roar of pain. One of which, sounded so familar, espcially to him. "Please be him, please be him" Gentle words were murmured through the hair, and running down the path which led from his own makeshift home, he sped towards the villages center, to where everyone was gathering, early waiting the return of one Freak.

Takitae felt such a rush of nostalgia as he stood there with Lavi under his arm, smiling brightly as he saw the village in the horizon. It was here at this very spot where he, Shito and Kallen used to play together as kids after Takitae saved him from drowning, which Takitae still found hilarious, given Shito's ability. Those three had always been the best of buddies, even though Kallen had been promised to Takitae as a young child due to his great service to the village, protecting and providing for it even as a boy. He got chills as he thought about seeing everyone in the village again after so long, wondering how much each person there had grown or changed. It just made him happy and filled with excitement.
As Takitae started walking down towards the village, he could see everyone start to gather to the center of the village for some reason. He wondered if it were trouble or if they knew he was coming, but either way, he was still excited. The villagers were astonished as they all heard the roars of pain not too long ago, knowing that sounded all too familiar, which really left them scratching their heads. "I-Is it really him?" one of the women asked, looking over at the horizon to see a tall figure start towards the village at a slow pace. "It can't be...we all saw the humans take him away two years ago...even if they had not killed him, it is still virtually impossible to escape those human domes, even for a warrior like him."
Wave of doubt began falling on the villagers as they listened to the one, knowing what he spoke of was pretty much true, and they all had given up hope a long time ago, including Kallen, say for young Shito who seemed eager and hopeful to see this person who was heading towards the village. It took Takitae a little while, but finally, he stood right outside the village, holding Lavi right under his arm, leaving the entire village speechless as they saw what they thought could only be a ghost. They couldn't believe their eyes in the slightest.

The rough, juttery path had slowed, the paces Takitae took, now gentler than before, somewhat, relaxed and softly paced, as if the man were reminicising, reminding himself of a place he had once been. Well...he had been in captivity, so it was understandable why. Yet the emotions that Lavi felt brewing inside him, were far from the same. Each new sight left him worried, frightened. He didn't know what would happen, sure, he had some ideas of what would be done to him, and none of them were pleasant...
Turning his head, that single eye surveyed his surrounds, memorising the area's he passed through as best he could. The first chance the human get, he would make a runner, and hopefully, return to where he belonged. Lavi needed to be brave, he needed to hold on, and survive.
----
"Kallen! Kallen!" Exictedly, a voice chanted, the speeding body of a blue haired boy appearing at one of the huts doors, hands pressed to the wooden frame, cheeks brushed pink from running, eyes bright and alive. Before him, one of their friends, stood, a small smile pressed to her disbelieving lips, and taking the hand of a small girl, she stepped towards him. "It cant be Taki, Shito. I don't want to get your hopes down...but it can't be him" Her words were soft, weak and gentle for her sensitive friend. For the one, who hadn't given up hope.
The villagers were already done, already waiting and shaking his head, Shito smiled and ran infront, heading towards the scene with Kallen slowly trailing after him, within her arms, a small girl lay rest, sleeping peacefully.
"Sunimasen! Ano...excuse me!" Shito chanted gently as he made his way to the crowd. It took him some time, but eventually, he made it too the front of a speechless crowd, and pushing out, those wide eyes grew wider, one name leaving his lips as he did so. "Takitae..."

Takitae smiled as he soon saw some familiar faces as he traveled closer and closer to the village, his heart skipping beat after beat after the thought of seeing everyone once again and as he saw everyone standing there speechlessly, he couldn't help but chuckle a bit as he continued to hold Lavi under his arm. He decided to break that silence. "Hey guys....you look like you've just seen a ghost or something." he laughed happily, just glad to be able to see them. As he laughed, he could hear a soft, gentle voice come from the crowd of speechless individuals, giving him yet another rush of nostalgia before he saw the familiar face which called out his name, only making a bright smile appear on the face of the white haired male. "Shito...." he quickly walked over to the boy and gave him a big hug with his free arm, almost having dropped Lavi from his surprise.
"Look at you Shito! You've grown so much since the last time I've saw you! Wow...its really you." he said happily, just hugging him still before letting him go to ruffle his hair before the villagers started to move towards him, making it so Azure didn't get a chance to see Kallen yet. "Takitae! H-How did you escape? None of this makes any sense." one of their fellow brethren said what everyone else wanted to and Taki sighed before taking a deep breath.
"Well, after that bastard Azure managed to subdue and capture me....I was taken to the human dome a few miles from here. At first they were going to have me killed for destroying so many of them and giving them so much trouble over the years, but they instead decided to experiment on me to create some kind of drug....For two, long years, they have kept me captive in that underground facility for research and testing for their drug, injecting my body with so many serums and chemicals to the point which I bled, or vomited or felt so sick I wanted to die...but the latest one the injected me with produced some rather....promising results which allowed me to break free." he told them before putting his free hand up in the air allowing electricity to visible flow around his arm to demonstrate for them his new power.
"T-This is incredible...you have 3 powers now?!" a few of them asked, astounded and he nodded happily. "Yea. Using it, I was about to short circuit their collars and break free and free the others that were there. Taking this thing hostage." he told them, dropping Lavi onto the dirty ground, making sure the chains around his arms were nice and tight, and the others crowded around the boy, making sure he didn't escape. "A human?" they asked and Takitae nodded. "I take it he is very important to the others...important enough for them to let us escape if his safety was threatened." he told them before shaking his head, looking at Shito. "But enough about that. How have you been these past few years?" he asked him.

Standing before the crowd, the blue haired youth stared on, watching with the biggest of smiles as Takitae, not some other freak, approached him. Shito's heart raced, his joy, seemingly overflowing within him. His best friend had returned, one of whom, had protected him, shared rough times with him, and taught him things as they grew up. Shito's hope, had not been futile. One arm circled around his lithe frame, pulling him close to a firm chest, one of which, had changed somewhat in the two years he had been away. He was stronger, that much was certain from his hold, but to Shito, he was still his best friend, no matter what the humans had done to him, and speaking of humans, Shito had noticed the one tucked beneath Takitae's other arm.
"Ahh, hmmm, you surprised!" Shtio chirped. He had always been tiny when he first was born, as a child, he had been....pretty much below average height for years, and finally, in the last two years, he had had, some growth in the height department, enough to make him finally look somewhat of the age he was. Yet even with the growth in height, his facial features had yet to chance much, the softness of his eyes and lips still helping to make his frame seem feminine. Shortly, the crowd of freaks closed in, and qestions were being thrown towards Takitae. Questions on how he escaped, things, that Shito too wished to known.
----
Still trapped beneath the arm of the other, Lavi stared onwards at the world behind, he still was viewing what Takitae had passed, this person, Shito was unknown to him, but he could tell this person was close to the white haired freak, afterall, they talked with a familiar tone, friends from an age before Takitae had been captured.
There was a spark, and Lavi's body tensed. Its cackling nose reminded him of the lab, where everything had gone wrong...If only he'd listened to his father. Stayed away from the lab, none of this would have happened...right? Voices sounded behind him, gasps of amazement, of awe. There were freaks behind him, and alot by the sounds of it. Finally, in a few seconds, Lavi was thrown down to face the freaks.
His single eye narrowed, hands clenching into fists as he surveyed the crowd around him. Which one was Shito, he didn't know, nor did he care at this point. His heart was racing, eye narrowed. His defenses were high, despite his tiredness from his ealier struggles.
----
The sight of the human was a shock, and Shito, quite clearly was far from keen from them. After all, when swimming, he had gotten himself caught in human relics, but as Takitae turned to him, his smile grew once more, and it seemed finally, Lavi knew this blue male was important to Takitae. Although small, short, the use of a hostage could go both ways.
"I've been, good. Hoping for you return, and finally, the sea has answered" Shito embraced his friend, hugging him tightly as if he were a long lost lover. Shito had always had feelings for Takitae, yet never once, had he allowed them to surface due to-ah... "Um...Takitae, theres somthing you should know-" He paused. "Before you see, Kallen"
Yet fate wanted it a different way.
The crowd silenced, and parted, one by one for a tall female, carrying a child within her arms. Her eyes were wide, amazed, and watching the sight before her, she stood speachless, until finally. "T-Takitae?"

Takitae laughed and nodded as he looked down at Shito, seeing he was still kind of small, but it was an improvement to when he last saw him. He happily hugged him again as Shito moved to hug him, both obviously happy to see one another, and the others knew this well. They had watch Takitae, Shito and Kallen grow up together through the years and become so close to one another. They all were so happy that he returned. Despite everything, everyone did miss him. The day he had been captured was a very dark day for the village, and they all had really given up hope save for Shito. Though as they all split apart for one freak, they all went silent, their hearts that had been filled with joy minutes ago felt a bit of sadness as they knew this second reunion would not be one of beauty. They wished they could prevent this from happening, given this was the first time he had seen the village for so long but they knew it couldn't be prolonged forever. They all moved out of the way one by one as a few of them grabbed Lavi and moved him out of the way and guarded him for Takitae.
Takitae just hugged Shito one more time and spun him around in his arms still so happy before Shito mentioned Kallen, which quickly sparked Takitae's memory. He was about to ask about her before he noticed the silence and the crowd of freaks beginning to split apart to make a path and as he did, he saw a sight he had longed for for so long. Her beautiful face, long hair, her nice, slim, curvy figure. It was her. "K-Kallen....I've missed you....so much." were the only words that left his lips for a few seconds as he took the site in and smiled brightly before seeing the baby within her hand. He wondered if she had been watching the small child for one of the couples in the village but he noticed the features of the child in her arms.
As he sat there and pondered about the child, a young freak walked through the path, wondering what was going on before seeing Kallen and happily kissed her cheek. "Hey honey. Whats going on?" he asked her before seeing Takitae. As Takitae saw that sight, he felt his heart sink into his chest, the pain more hurtful than anything the humans had done to him in the lab. It felt like some of his electricity had hold of his heart, continuously shocking it a thousand times over each second as that male placed his lips on Kallen. The baby within her arms had become all too clear. He recognized the male to be someone who had joined the village a year before he had been captured by the humans. He felt so many emotions as he saw the boy place his arm around Kallen and look down at the baby before seeing Takitae. "T-Takitae....y-your alive?" he asked, astounded at the site before him, but Takitae remained speechless.

Meeting Kallen in such a short space of time was not the best thing for Takitae, espically after time had been wasted on talking about his past life without Takitae. Shito hadn't the chance to prepare him for what was to come, somthing, he knew his friend would suffer greatly from. A sight, glimpse of a future, which was suppose to be his. But only Shito had remained hopeful over the years, and as the time went by, the rest of the village moved on, thinking merely of Takitae as a distant memory. A distant memory which wouldn't be coming back...
Staring speachless still towards the figure both her, and the other villagers, excluding Shito, had considered dead, Kallen dared not move from her spot. She was rooted. Feelings, both familar and foriegn, rushing into her system. First relief came, followed by an unsettling amount of greif, and regret. She was not blind to emotions, and aftering being bethroved to Takitae for years, to come back to this, her, craddling her sweet child within her arms, was somthing which would hit the man hard, much like a nail to the heart. The flash of blue eyes, worried and concerned, looked towards her, Shito soon turning to glance the floor, and timidly, Kallen smiled.
Behind her, her partner, lover and husband, the father of her child, moved, and with a kiss on the cheek and an arm around her shoulders, she could only feel sad for Takitae. Holding her baby close, she smiled once more, eyes soft, kind and gentle. "Welcome back Takitae" She paused, glancing to her baby. "Alot of things, have changed since you left...I hope-you won't find them too distressing" She couldn't look him in the eye, and glancing to her husband, she smiled towards him, before parting from both his touch and the crowd, opting to leave Takitae alone. He was apart of her life, she needed to keep distant from.
----
Hands had grabbed him and secured him, pulling him back with kicks and struggles. "G-get off!" He was weak, tired. So much had happened, so much energy wasted on futile attempts of escape. But gradually, as he calmed down, still caught by the freaks, but able to view the scene before him, interest sparked within him.
A female freak, important to Takitae so it seemed, had made center stage. Within her arms a baby, and behind her, a possible father or relative. Not once did Takitae open his mouth, a shock, which had hit home hard. Now if there had been no one else around, such an oppertunity would not have been put to waste. Lavi would have run, escaped while he could, yet sadly, that wasn't possible, and inside him, a nervousness clutched his stomach. What for, he didn't know why.

Takitae could only stare at them as the guy had his arm around her. The freaks behind them all looked down, or looked away from the heartbreaking scene before them. Takitae could feel his heart tear in two before he heard her voice for the first time. They were two simple sentences before she took her leave, the man following right after her, not wishing to be in that awkward situation. As he left, Takitae placed his hand over his left eye as he felt his scar burn slightly. He remembered quite clearly how he got that scar as he stood there silently. It was during the raid. He could still remember the hellish scene of fire ablaze in the village, some of the freaks dropping left and right as Takitae tried his best to protect everyone. He remembered seeing blue hair heading straight for Kallen with a big sword ready to cut her down when Takitae stepped in, having not protected himself well enough, he received that scar for protecting the woman that he loved and battled it out hard until he could fight any longer.
It finally occurred to him. Did she give up on him? Did they all give up on him? Was that the reason he heard no word of rescue? Or even an attempt? The moment he had left, he figured that their lives just continued on like any other day, allowing that guy to move in on Kallen without any trouble at all. He felt betrayed.....hurt....humiliated. He felt like roaring, screaming, shouting....anything, but his mouth refused to open. The total shock of betrayal was too much for him. He felt like dying....This was not at all how he imagined this reunion would turn out all those years in the underground lab. He wanted Kallen to cry as she rushed into his arms to embrace him before he took her back to their hut to make love. But now, everything had been taken from him. He felt that this was no longer the village he had grown to love so much. These were no longer the people he wished to protect with his life. The only one he felt even cared anymore was Shito. But had he not gathered a rescue party for him? Did he not try to help him or keep that guy away from Kallen? He had no idea what to do or believe in anymore.
He shook his head a bit as he tried to come back to reality and walked over slowly towards Lavi with the look of sadness and sorrow in his eyes, yet his face gave off no emotion. He walked over and with effort, pick the boy up and put him onto his shoulder. He walked past the others who made a path for him, not speaking either as they could not find the right words to say as well. Takitae just made a B line straight towards his hut, hoping that it remained empty. Thats all he could hope for now...As he walked, the wasteland wind wiped through his spiky white hair and he began thinking once more. How old was that child? It takes nine months to give birth and he had only been gone for two years. Did she not even wait or grieve for him? The thought of her readily jumping into bed with some other guy so quickly after all he had done for her and been through with her sickened him.

Panic continued to spread amongst the humans as they scrambled into their homes in fear of something coming into the dome from the outside due to the recent freak escape. The human military did the best the could to try to quickly repair it as they guarded the opening with their lives. This was their sanctuary and they refused to let anything happen to it or get inside from the barren wasteland. As most of the humans were panicking, one human was happily sighing as he zipped up his pants and pulled on his shirt and sat down on a bed next to a heavily panting, naked woman as he tried putting on his military boots. "Thanks. I'll see what I can do about dinner tonight if I can make it. I have a late shift tonight, so don't get your hopes up sweetheart." he told her before heading downstairs and out the door.
He noticed the people running around frantically and heard the sirens going off and he couldn't help but wonder what was going on that he missed. He growled in an annoyed way as he walked over to the edge of the dome and noticed some of the military grunts there who were lower than him in status and he made his way over to the quickly. They instantly caught sight of him and saw that he was coming and they stood to attention. "Sir!" the shouted before he got there and he sighed slightly. "What happened? What the hell is going on?" Azure asked and they started looking at one another. "Well, Major Azure, I think the general will need to explain this to you. He has been looking for you all day sir..."

No one dared to speak. None could find the words to comfort or ease Takitae. His bethroved was married, off with another man, everyone but the little blue haired youth had abandoned him, pushed him into their buried memories. When freaks were captured, they usually never came back. That thought had hit them hard, and they had moved on.
With his head held low, Shito watched his crush through the bangs of his blue locks, saddness, flooding his form at such a sight. Yet there was nothing he could no, no comfort he could offer. He knew not what to say, no matter how many times he'd thought of what he would say should this day come. Yet everything, it was all forgotten now. He bit his lip, and flickered his eyes towards the human. Within seconds, the redhead was lifted, and Takitae was on his way, heading towards the hut which had been vacant for two years.
Sighing, Shito's shoulders slumped, and wearily, he moved from the crowd. He would...visit Takitae later, for now, he needed to be alone, even if he had taken the human with him. Stopping mid walk, he glanced back, once more to see the retreating back before finally, he made move to return home.
----
The eerie silence which had surrounded the area was gone, and hoisted into the arms of Takitae, Lavi had finally broken it. Even if this man was upset, hurt by what had just happened, Lavi couldn't let the man have a moments peace. It would give him ideas, ideas on what...on what to do to him, and...and who knows what else. "W-what're you doing, put me down!" His voice was weak, somewhat toned down in volume. He wasn't all to certain with his choice to disturpt this freak, but he had spoken now. It was done.
The crowd of freaks grew distant with each step, and he was lead, past huts, made of wood and left over bricks. Small shacks, which appeared...somewhat, anicent. As if they were relics from the past. The way of life here, was nothing like that of the city. "L-let me go! Your home now!" He thrashed, or at least, started to, yet this grip, it was far too strong, and shortly, Lavi stopped. He gulped. He was nervous, frightened. Nothing good could come out from this mans mood.
