Ezra i920.photobucket.com/albums/ad44/Surana44/death_note_chronicale__fixed__by_sakimichan-d219fh2cpia.jpg
A knight who fought in the great war, the obsidian war. During that time, Ezra was almost taken to hell, but due to his stubbornness and skill, he defeated death, using his scythe as his main weapon. He returned to his homeland once the war was over, wanting to claim his beloved hand. However before he could even speak with his precious maiden, she was killed and her should taken by Lucifer. Now Ezra is in a quest to rescue his beloved, venturing into hell without a second though, moved only by his love for the young maiden.

Kyuki i607.photobucket.com/albums/tt158/ChuChusstorage/Picture027-1.jpg
An Incubus who saved Ezra from falling off the side of Charon's boat. His past life is a complete mystery, though he claims to have been brought to hell by Lucifer because his parents traded him for their souls. Although foul mouthed and short tempered, he is extremely intellagent and a valued ally towards Ezra. He knows his way around hell, and is talented in the art of magic and seduction. Kyuki orginated from the inner cirlce of lust.

Virgil i607.photobucket.com/albums/tt158/ChuChusstorage/Picture025-1.jpg
A wandering spirit of light who appears in hell in certain areas. He is a spiritual guide to Ezra who offers him useful information on where he is traveling. He is an aid who was sent to assist Ezra on his quest to find his beloved, though the one who sent Virgil is a mystery in its own.

Lucifer i920.photobucket.com/albums/ad44/Surana44/Lucifer_by_chrnokakashi.jpg
A fallen angel, ruler of hell. Lucifer is powerful, maybe too much, and that also means he gets bored a lot. Even if he has his Kyuky to keep him entertained, he found something interesting, an human knight with great skill who managed to defeat death. Of course this wouldn’t go unnoticed by the mighty ruler of hell and now he holds the soul of the knight’s beloved, hoping to bring him into his own territory. His purposes are unknown.

Ashlin i607.photobucket.com/albums/tt158/ChuChusstorage/Picture026-1.jpg
The daughter of the mayor of her home town, Springfalt. She is the love interest of Ezra, who was taken by Lucifer to hell for reasons unknown. She was murdered by a rogue solider who raided the town and attaced her house, her soul having been dragged into the depths of hell. Although she herself does not hold any feelings towards Ezra, he still searches for her.

The horrors of war were too much for someone to forget. For someone who fought in order to survive, someone who killed so they could live. Those are wounds craved deep in their flesh, wounds that will never heal. How can someone keep living after witnessing hell?
Ezra was a knight, one of the best in fact. Of course that meant he would have his secured spot in the frontlines. Not exactly good news, but for a knight, that was a great honor. Or maybe not, as Ezra later came to realize. Wars are meant to bring peace, or so they say, but aren’t doing exactly the opposite? How can they hope to be forgiven after such a dreadful experience? How can they forgive themselves? No one question the motives or consequences of war, they just prefer to avoid the truth and hide behind the lies of their false peace.
War was a living hell, and it certainly wasn’t glorious as many claimed it to be. Not mention that in a war they were all guilty. Ezra almost died, he met death who wanted to reap his soul and condemn it to an eternity of punishment for his sins. But weren’t they doing the right thing? After defeating death and taking his scythe, Ezra came to realize that their path was everything except glorious.
After some months, Ezra was finally home, away from that hell. Yet destiny wouldn’t let this knight have his peace. Despite being such a great knight, surviving the war and bring victory to their country, it still wasn’t enough to win this maiden’s heart. Ashlin was the daughter of the mayor, he who greeted Ezra as a hero among the others, he who would gladly offer his daughter to this hero knight, If… Only if her soul hadn’t been taken, by none other than the devil, Lucifer.
Ezra could not stand this, he was unable to accept such fate, not when he would finally have his beloved maiden.
The anger and despair were too much, he couldn’t find his resting place knowing that his beloved’s soul was damned, forever being kept in such a hideous place.
Without much thinking, Ezra run after the misty shadow who stole Ashlin’s soul and after he was accused of being the responsible for what was happening to Ashlin, the church they were in started to crumble, and under its ruins were the gates of hell.
After defeating some minions and beast which crossed his path, Ezra came to a stop, seeing what seemed to be a ghost in front of those gates. Taking careful steps towards this unknown figure, he started to wonder if it was another enemy, another beast trying to take his life. But there was something different about this man.
“Who are you?” The knight asked as he took another step, scythe ready in case it was indeed an enemy, he would not falter, not even a second, that could mean death to him, especially in such a place.

A cobbled path, cracked and rusty with aged blood was his standing grounds, the spot in which he rested, and simply waited in front of closed doors. A messenger, a spirit of both wisdom and light. He was a beackon, bright, blue and holy, within the darkness of the underworld. The spiritual guide sent to aid a man in his dire quest, the sure for his beloved. The hope for the lord. This was a place where his feet could not directly touch the ground, a mist of blue haze circled with white was all that could, yet perfectly, he could hear the heavy thumps of the feet before him. Softened hues, dilated in colour gazed out through crooked eyes, surrounded by wrinkles which made such a skin appear like cracked ice and rays of sunshine. Silently, they gazed towards the man who had just approached, who days ago had dealt the end of death itself. A changer of time. The spirit cracked a beaming smile towards the copper haired man before him.
"I was sent by a friend. They seem to believe you will stray, and therefor, I, Virgil, am here to guide you" His speach was warm, loving and caring, at least, the words he used was. Yet even so, his voice was dead. Loud and booming, it held a dominant tone within it, almost holy as it resounded with some sort of light echo.
But could Virgils word's be trusted?
Virgil raised one hand, outstreching it towards the man. Blue skin, lined with wrinkles of white, Viens of somesort, that coursed high up his arm, disappearing into his tunic. There was no other colour on this man, just blue, and white. From the blacks and reds, deep slahses of browns and gold which created the scenary around him, Virgil stuck out like a sore thumb. "Behind these doors be the enterance to hell. The path towards the ferryman of whom you will need to use to travel across the unholy river. Charon only ferries the dead, there is no bribe big enough to allow you travel."

The knight kept watching the other with great interest. Ezra wasn’t sure if he should trust this… Being, but deep down he really wanted too. Virgil stood out, he looked almost holly in this decadent place, like the hope in the very bottom of the Pandora box. But still, wasn’t this too good to be true? Someone showing him the path?
Ezra didn’t bother to ask who send him, it was obvious if the man wanted to tell him he would have done so already. But he wasn’t about to blindly trust this stranger just yet. “Very well, if you are here to guide me, then how do I open these gates?” The knight was testing the other, he had a pretty good idea of how to, since he didn’t have the strength to, he would need something to open it instead, but what could it be?
As for Charon, well Ezra would find a way. If the ferryman refuses to take him, Ezra will just take his boat instead, with or without the ferryman. He didn’t have time to spare, he didn’t know what Lucifer could be doing with his beloved and he surely didn’t like the possibilities. His only choice was to hurry, he needed to find her, and fast!

As Ezra stood before him, Virgil could only stare. Neither moving forward, nor back. He did not have much time here, he was certain others would follow their scent, certain an attack would occur, but even so, help was all he could offer, he could not touch the dammed. "Creatures which have been tamed can easily be used by you.Defeat their riders, and that beast is all yours. I am certain one will appear" Raising his hands, he beackoned towards the cracked wall on the side of them, his misty skin leaving light trails within the air, before shortly, they fell to his sides. "Lucifer knows of your defiance, of your entery to this place, as does the damned who dwell here. This is all the help I can offer for now, but I will see you soon when you break free" As his words slowed into nothingness, the body of virgil changed. Gradually he became lighter, his image fading into a faint outline, while the gentle glow of white beneath his feet increased, before shortly that too vanished, and within seconds, Ezra was left alone.
Yet that loniless was far from short. The ground shook, rumbled, and instantly creatures from hell were clawing from the ground, their boney fingers scraping the earth, and rotting skin barely clinging to their bodies. Yet that wasn't all that seemed to be appearing. Although it was faint, loud sounds could be heard, echoing from behind the cracked wall, heavy thumps of feet, somthing else was quickly approaching.

Ezra stared at the disappearing form before him, of course the man wouldn’t help him fight, he was lucky enough to have someone help him through this, maybe God didn’t forsake him after all. Or Virgil could simply be guiding him to his demise. The knight couldn’t be sure, but right now he also couldn’t think it over as soon more of the dammed appeared, making the knight sigh, he would need to take care of them and fast.
As he kept slaying the weak lost souls, he soon heard those loud footsteps, almost freezing his running blood. What he saw didn’t make it better, a giant creature, almost like an Ox, commanded by another of the dammed, stood in front of him. Could it be the creature Virgil mentioned? It had to, the creature seemed to be strong enough to break those gates, and to crush him like a bug.
The knight knew he needed to defeat the rider, but how could he when he was in the top of such a big thing… Well he needed to attack, otherwise he would just be waiting to die. The man attacked, trying to wound the beast, specially his legs. And then, something happened, the creature kneeled in pain, allowing him to use his scythe to climb up, effortlessly cutting the rider in two as he turned to ashes. Planting the scythe firmly on the creature’s skull, Ezra guided it to the gates, crushing the new dammed who appeared.
He was right, just like Virgil had predicted too, this creature could open the gates, and as soon as those dreaded gates were open, it seemed like both him and the beast were sucked in and soon, Ezra was falling.
A lot of souls were around him, the souls condemned to spend the eternity in hell, constantly being punished by their offenses against God. Ezra didn’t belong here, all he did was in the name of God, but his beloved also didn’t belong here.
The knight managed to land in some kind of bridge, but the shore to the boat was far down. He had no other option but to climb those walls, with the cursed souls locked in it, it was truly a terrifying sight, but the knight had no time to waste and didn’t hesitate to use the walls to get to his destination. He could see some souls being washed by some kind of water, falling down into the river and screaming for mercy. Ezra shuddered involuntarily, so when he found a secure path with the familiar ghostly figure soon ahead, he could only sigh in relief, soon making his way to the ghostly man.
“Virgil…” He muttered as he approached, he still couldn’t place his full trust on this man, but for now he would listen to his advice. He looked down and soon his eyes were back on the man, “Is that the shore?” He knew it was, but he wanted to make sure, besides he wanted to hear what advice Virgil could give him in what concerns Charon.

The ghosty figure amongst the world of shadows stood tall and strong, his eyes staring out, following the body which approached his own. Ezra murmured his name, and pleasantly, the ghostly figure could only allow a faint smile to drift onto his lips, blue eyes peering towards the man who he had met only moments ago. When the humans eyes drifted from his own, he too followed their gaze, before returning to Ezra. "Yes. Charon's boat is just down this path, but only the dead are allowed to enter. An alternative route is what you need" He gripped his staff tightly, glancing sides towards the wooden path below where the shores were. The dead walked slowly upon it, cautious, sobbing, hopeless. None wished to venture onto the boat, but who would want to when one knew what their fate was? Virgil's eyes returned to the other, watching him, ghostly lips sealed shut. He waited, stood, wondering if more would be asked of him. He would help as much as he could, and leave when no more was to be said.
Below near the dock, Charon's boat rested, the rear end visable from their spot, a spine like bone sticking out of the wooden vessel. From this distance, that wood, seemed to bubble, to move and sway, as if the wood itself were breathing, and on a much more closer examination, one would releaise the damned had been pressed into the boat, stuck together forming a mesh which could be used as ladders.

Ezra’s eyes moved from the shore to the ghostly figure before him, Ezra had come to a decision, he would trust this man and he would take this all as another test, yes he could get past this, he had been in hell before, not literally but wars were pretty much like this place, so he could come out victorious. “Thanks Virgil, guess I’ll just have to make him take me.” He stated before starting to run down. In his way eh passed by a lot of fallen souls, but he didn’t even pause to look, he didn’t have time, all eh cared about right now was Ashlin and who knows what might have happened to her?
Once he was near the shore, he run through the damned souls slowly getting inside, knocking some of them back on his way but he didn’t care, he just needed the boat, nothing more. “Hey Charon, is there place for one more?” oh yes, Ezra was pushing his luck, but he didn’t care, he just wanted to get this over with. The boat moved his massive head to look back at the intruder and with some wild roars more of those pathetic demons appeared which Ezra proceeded to defeat.
Still, it seemed like he had miscalculated, they were too much and more powerful and before and that combined with the boat’s movements made it hard for him to keep his balance. Another one aimed for him and moving his scythe to slice the bastard in half, he suddenly lost his footing, gliding through he boat but before he fell off, his hand grabbed the rail. His eyes moved down, if he fell on the river all was over. He looked up again, seeing those demons gathering as if deciding who should give him the final blow. Ezra’s brown knitted together as he thought, could he extend his scythe long enough for him to get inside again? Well it looked like his only chance now, that or a certain death, it wasn’t a hard pick.

Virgal stood, a small smile, fluttering onto his ghostly face, though it did not stay for long. "Be careful my friend. Charon is not one to bow to threats" But as his words left, Ezra had already made his leave. Standing still in the spot he was left, Vergil watched, allowing hell's light wind to brush his misty form, then slowly, with that tiny breeze, full of the stench of decay and rotting flesh, his misty form dispered within the wind.
Soul by soul, Ezra pushed them away, each one, either landing onto the wooden bridge or falling into the depths of one of the many rivers, screams of torture, of pain, rocketing through their hallowed framed, tense, and trembling as they were subjected to a pain that they could not escape. In hell, death was not permanent, you never died. Not really... The gaurds were alerted, and growling they made their way towards the intruder, each one attacking, defending. Ezra fell, and all seemed lost.
Clawed hands pushed agaisnt strong chests, rumbling leaving the lesser demons throats. They were close to killing a living pest, and licking their lips, their hooved feet lead them forward, deep chuckles vibrating from their lips, yet those sounds didn't last long. Out of the view of Ezra, a wretched, blood curlding scream sounded from one of the demons. Then one flew off the edge of Charon, another shortly following. Foot steps sounded, nearing he edge. Someone, was coming.
Peering over the edge, two sharp red eyes stared down, pale skin, creating an unscared, perfect body, clothed, in the mininal amount of clothing without re3vealing any vital areas. A buckled belt covering his nipples, while black lace up panties covered this persons manhood, gloves, and high boots decorating slender limbs, while black wings arched behind this beings back, red hair framing that delicate face and red ears, perked up. "..." Nothing was said, but after a few seconds, the youth bent, leaning down and outstreching one delicate hand, a demonic tail curling around one of the moving edges, digging into the soul who screamed for help. "Grab on" A gentle, seductive voice whispered, a collar jingling on his neck.

Ezra grabbed his scythe, ready to try and balance himself enough to get back inside or at least to a less crowded place, the demons were getting too close to him and he knew they wouldn’t hesitate to cut his arms if needed and he surely wouldn’t wait for that to happen.
Yet before he manage to even more the scythe, screams were heard, from the demons, making Ezra frown deeply… He knew Vergil couldn’t fight, the man told him himself, so who was it? Who was helping him? When the mysterious person came into view, Ezra stared back, it certainly wasn’t what he was expecting… He was another demon, a different looking one for sure but still a demon. Ezra didn’t want to take his hand, but he didn’t have much choice and when his voice sounded, he almost couldn’t stop his body and instantly grabbed it, being pulled inside the boat once again.
Ezra was looking at the new demon, a clear look of confusion on his face as he looked him over. He was barely dressed, but he seemed strong, after all he took care of those demons by himself and he didn’t have any weapons on him form what Ezra could tell. “Who are you? Why did you help me?” those two questions were the ones bothering him now, especially the last one, if he was a demon as well, why was he helping someone like him?

Instantly, one hand latched onto his own, and holding onto the male, he pulled, helping him up as best he could. Strenght wasn't the best thing about him, no, far from it. He was born with megic, that was his strenght, and already, just from pulling this human up, that strenght he seemingly had, could already be questioned.
Pulling back once the human was up, his tail unlatched from the poor soul made into the ship. The being was sobbing, crying, yet this demon, small and delicate in appearance, paid no attention to the dead man's cries. Instead, he glanced up, cat like orbs, blood red, stared towards the human, confusion written on the man's face, making him chuckle slightly, before his looks fell.
"My name...is Kyuki" He paused, sighing as those eyes dropped, ears inturn, following to droop. "I overheard the higher demons..your a human right, here to kill lucifer?" He raised his head, those eyes, soft weak, desperate. The demonic entity, KYuki, bit his lip. He moved forwards, a serious look crossing those delicate features. "Its true...right?" He seemed dependant on the answer, a strange look of hope, of wanting this rumour to be true grazing his form. Kyuki, needed to make himself understood, he needed this human, to help him. To understand him and- "If you are...take me. With you" He hadn't explained a thing, not yet, not until this human told him.

Ezra was confused, even more when the young looking demon spoke. He looked hopeful, expectant, waiting for his answer, almost pleading for it to be true. Ezra honestly didn’t know what to reply, so he soon nodded, “It’s true.” He confirmed still on his guard in case the demon decided to change his mind and attack him. Yet soon some other words were spoken from those lips, his light brown eyes meeting those cat like red orbs as he shook his head.
“I can’t. I must do this alone, besides won’t the other demons kill you if they know of this?” Ezra was just testing, actually an ally sure would be great to have around, but was this demon really willing to help? Or was this just a trick? He needed to be careful, demons could not be trusted.
Turning to his side, he soon smirked, his eyes once again returning to the other demon, “If you manage to make Charon take me across the river, I’ll consider it.” If he was going to have a demon with him, he might as well be useful. Not that he was sure yet, this sounded fishy and too good to be happening in a place like this.

At the simple sentence that left the human, a soft sigh of releif seemed to sweep through the small demon, his eyes slipping shut, ears raising a tad and wings comfortably slouching agaisnt his back. Reopening those glossy hues, he stared towards the male, and listening, a frown pressed to those delicate lips.
"Of course they will!" He exclaimed, wings shooting upwards and ears pushing back. "B-but I don't care!" He was desperate, he needed to go with this human, he needed to, and he wouldn't stop until he would be accepted by the human. The male turned his head, a smirk dusting those lips, and those eyes, locked onto him once again.
Kyuki clenched his hands into tightly balled fists. "...Fine" He glanced to the side. "I'll make Charon take off, if you'll help release me from this hell" His attitude had changed, determination, a stern voice. He wouldn't take no for an answer, yet this male, still had yet to say his true cause of wanting to help. "You better hide though, other demons will walk through here. Charon will depart soon, I'll make sure of that" He paused, titling his head. "Your a stow away on this boat, he can sense your here, and without a little guiding, he will not lead you to the beggining of hell"
